Based in Singapore, the Chew Hua Seng Foundation was established to serve as an effective conduit for the philanthropic work of Raffles Education Corporation Limited (”RafflesEducationCorp”) and its founder and CEO, Mr Chew Hua Seng. As a global company built on education, RafflesEducationCorp believes that the surest path to make a difference in young lives is through providing educational opportunities to underserved communities. Its Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") efforts span across its network of institutions with focus on three areas, namely the community in which it serves, its people and the environment.

Vision & Mission:
Guided by its Founder's motivation to provide young people with equal opportunities, the Chew Hua Seng Foundation seeks to help underprivileged youths by granting them the resources they need to succeed in school and unlock their potential in life. The Foundation is dedicated to filling basic needs to help youths get on with bigger things in their lives, reach their full potential, and become active contributors to the world economy.

Our Commitments:
At the Chew Hua Seng Foundation, we believe that education is a valuable gift that we can give to the youth. The Foundation is committed to investing in education and providing opportunities particularly to the less fortunate students.

A fundamental challenge facing society is that well-performing students have traditionally received a bigger bulk of private and public sector assistance. However, the catch is that economically disadvantaged students are not able to perform to the best of their abilities due to the fact that their basic needs for food and shelter are not met. Therefore, the Foundation is also active in efforts to alleviate poverty in the communities where it operates through initiatives in areas such as basic social services - health, water, sanitation, nutrition and housing - as well as disaster relief to students and their families.
