Sponsorship of the Dyslexia Symposium 2008 tickets for 60 staff from various Voluntary Welfare and Non-Profit organizations.

Mainly from PCF Kindergartens, Ramakrishna Mission Sarada Kindergarten, Life SCC Ministry, Glory Family Service Ctr, CARE Community Services Society  and MCYC Community Services Society.

This is the first time a Dyslexia Symposium is organized in Singapore by Orton-Gillingham Centre. It is to create awareness to the general public about Dyslexia, an ‘invisible’ disability that affects 1 out of 8 children in any given population. If left untreated. Dyslexia may result in many social and emotional problems for the individuals suffering from it.   

This Symposium will guide parents, educators and professionals and have the opportunity to gain expert insights on this neurological condition.
